1. How we’re keeping clients and staff safe
PPE Our staff are issued with face masks as a safety precaution and may use them whilst caring for you in the home, shopping. This is to minimise any potential harm and risk. Our staff will also have disposable gloves and/or hand sanitiser.
Symptoms of flu If you have any symptoms of flu then please call 111 or contact your GP if you are worried about symptoms . Please do not be alarmed when our staff wear additional PPE when caring for you and supporting you, as these measures will assist to reduce the transmission of the flu virus.
Service Provision We are monitoring our services and receiving regular updates from staff on their well-being and that of the people they support. whilst following government advice regarding the winter flu virus.

I would like to reassure our clients and their families that our staff are following the latest Government and Public Health England (PHE) regarding the Winter Flu virus and coronavirus guidance in relation to health and social care. We are keeping fully up to date with official advice, making sure that all our staff understand and follow the guidance, this includes robust infection control measures, including handwashing, use of PPE. We expect staff to be extra vigilant about wearing appropriate PPE, appropriate hand washing and sanitising and completing lateral flow testing. The well-being of our clients and staff is our highest priority.
